The best hairdressers Sydney are often called on to create the most stunning catwalk looks around the country, and last month was no exception! Scott was proud to represent the Sloans Lane Cove and Sloans North Sydney teams by journeying to WA for the annual Perth Fashion Festival – one of our favourite events of the year. Leading the team as L’Oreal Professionnel Hair Director for night 3, he was responsible for crafting some of the most showstopping hair looks we have seen in ages. When it comes to creating the best styles, Sloans have you covered.

Now in its 21st year, Perth Fashion Festival is one of Australia’s premier fashion events. It has cultivated an international reputation for fostering some of Australia’s most sought after creative talent and showcasing Western Australian designers on a global stage. Each year is bigger, better and brighter than ever before as the festival continues to share the vision of creating a brilliantly connected future for everyone to enjoy.

Some of the best looks of the week, as created by Scott, are below. Which one is your favourite?

First up Scott looked after the Future Runway show, in which the most promising design students from WA’s leading fashion design schools and universities showcased their exciting original designs. Featuring designs in the categories of RTW, Wearable Technology, Costume and Eco Design this was a catwalk dripping in creativity so the hair had it’s own distinctly futuristic feel. Braids were used down the centre of the crown, reminiscent of a mohawk with hair left loose and full of volume.

Then he also worked on the iconic Closing Night show featuring a bevy of local, national and international designers. The event of the week, this show is one for the true fashion lovers and required a chic and modern look. Hair was textured and given a touch of movement by working with a wide barrel tong. Think more a bend than a curl, with a focus on volume and a deliberately organic finish. Some styles were pulled up while others were left loose, offset by some stunning hats perfect for the summer season.
