Turning more than a few heads last night at the David Jones showcase was former Foreign Minister Julie Bishop, rocking her incredible new look thanks to our very own hair master Scott Sloan. Appearing alongside a who’s who of Sydney’s VIP set including Pip Edwards, Victoria Lee, Nadia Fairfax, Erin Holland and Nicole Warren to name just a few, it was Julie that stole the show.
Scott is no stranger to a red carpet look and a celebrity moment but this was a particularly impressive showstopping turn for the Director of Sloans Lane Cove and Co-Director Sloans North Sydney. Julie has been a loyal Sloans client for many years now, working with both Scott as well as Christopher Byrne whenever she wants to make an impact with her look, and we love having her visit.
For this occasion, she wanted to make a statement with a fresh cut just hours before the big event, trusting Scott would know exactly what was needed. Dubbed her ‘post-COVID recovery haircut’ Julie was thrilled with the final look. Having let her hair grow out, like so many of us, during COVID lockdowns, she had felt long overdue to chop the locks into a more wearable shorter crop and the results speak for themselves.
This flattering style suits so many, but the cut is absolutely crucial. There is a high level of skill and precision cutting experience required to create the perfect look for each face shape and hair texture, so it’s one best left to the experts at Sloans! The side swept fringe frames the face perfectly and it’s a great way to add plenty of height to thinner hair without any excess hair weighing it down, or alternatively to help tame thicker hair into a more manageable style.
