Sloans of Lane Cove are currently seeking passionate Full-time First Year Hairdressing Apprentices to join our award-winning team. No previous experience required.

As an apprentice at Sloans, you’ll work alongside some of Australia’s most respected hairdressers, including L’Oréal Professionnel International Guest Artist Scott and our talented senior team. You’ll be supported, mentored, and given the tools to excel in every aspect of your role.

What You’ll Do

In the early stages, you’ll support our senior team with tasks including:

• Welcoming clients and creating a warm, friendly salon experience
• Answering calls and managing appointments
• Assisting with colour application, blow-dries, and general salon duties
• Learning the fundamentals of cutting, colouring, and styling from industry leaders

As you progress, your responsibilities will grow alongside your skills, setting you up for a successful and rewarding career in hairdressing.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking apprentices who are:

• Passionate about premium customer care and creating great experiences
• Excellent communicators with a warm, friendly personality
• Eager to learn and driven to excel
• Positive, reliable, and ready to be part of a close-knit team

No previous salon experience is required, just a genuine passion for hairdressing, a can-do attitude, and the enthusiasm to learn from the best.
