Perhaps it’s the perfect look for your next event? Take note of the below then head straight into the best hair salons near you – Sloans.

Lucy Boynton

The breakout star of Bohemian Rhapsody, Lucy is making a statement this season with her adorable blunt bob. In a sea of long tumbling curls and updos, her chic little number is a breath of fresh air. For these awards she went Edie Sedgewick inspired, pulling the bob back into a faux pixie crop. Two thin braids were added, woven into the hair from eye level and tucked back at the nape of the neck. Loose tendrils were teased out to soften the finish and the final touch was the subtle little diamond stars right at the nape. Stunning.

Lady Gaga

We have been loving Gaga’s nods to all things old Hollywood recently. She has taken the humble chignon and curls and continues to take them to the next level. For these awards her curls look as though they have been beautifully sculpted into place. The deep side part is the perfect starting point and the curls have been carefully placed to frame the face. Plus we love, love, love the metallic silver colour – we expect to see plenty of this look in 2019!

Mandy Moore

Sleek and stunning. There was an abundance of texture and curl this year, so Mandy’s smooth glossy looks made even more of an impact. Created with a precise centre part, the key element of this look was the length, down past the shoulder blades and tucked neatly behind the ears. It elongates the face and works to complement the column dress. With not a hair out of place this look is simple yet glamourous.
