Here we are again. Another lock down. Firstly let us say we hope all of our clients are safe and well and managing this new reality yet again. We know how difficult it is with home-schooling, working from home and our incredible front line workers keeping us safe so to you we say thank you. We know we can’t see you in the salon, but we still want you and your locks to look and feel the best they can until we are able to see you again so are offering a special contactless Click & Collect opportunity this Saturday 21st August – from our North Sydney salon.
Looking after yourself and taking the time out for self care during yet another time of uncertainty is paramount. What’s more, if you usually receive a hair colour service at Sloans, you may have noticed some unexpected changes to your hair over the course of lockdown as your natural hair colour emerges:
Oilier than usual, especially at the roots?
This is because your natural hair won’t have the same absorbing qualities as your coloured hair. To combat this, we recommend washing your hair more often, and also using a Deep Clean shampoo.
Loss of volume?
This is likely to be because the hair care products you were using pre-lockdown are currently too heavy for your colour lacking locks. If this is the case for you, we recommend switching to Volumising Hair Products. Clear shampoos are generally less heavy.
Dry shampoo build up?
If you are opting to wash your hair less often and rely a little more on dry shampoo, it is important to use a Deep Clean Shampoo when you do wash your hair, to avoid dry shampoo build up. A Deep Clean shampoo can be used prior to your usual hair care products.
For all of these reasons, our North Sydney salon will be offering a contactless Click & Collect opportunity this Saturday 21st August for all of our professional home hair care retail products, including Kerastase and L’Oreal Professionnel shampoos, conditioners, treatments and styling products.

- You click and collect your product from the NORTH SYDNEY salon this Saturday, 21st August, between 10am and 12 midday
Please note, we will only be in the salon during this time so we will not be able to confirm orders over the phone or via email. All orders will be processed on the day and all government guidelines adhered to as your health and safety is important to us.
