16 Mar MISS FLO IS THE BELLE OF THE BALL
The Oscars red carpet was filled to the brim with hair and make-up inspo as per usual, but there was one who, yet again, knocked it out of the park. Florence Pugh looked incredible arriving in head-to-toe Valentino Haute Couture amazing-ness.
The punk-princess confection in a dreamy champagne shade matched the pale carpet and Florence compared it to “wearing a cloud” and it was a slam dunk of style.
Her show-stopping hair was a couture worthy updo, styled by celebrity hairstylist Peter Lux who spent hours hand-sculpting Pugh’s blonde lengths into a bowtied pony that flowed forward into these clever trompe l’oeil baby bangs.
Florence trusted him to play with shapes and twists and bows to form the perfect look. Word is the unique ponytail fringe finish took two hours to turn into the elaborate sculpture that was created. They also worked in a prim and proper black velvet ribbon as the perfect contrast to the punk look. We love how he managed to create something so fresh and unexpected by using the classic ponytail to create both a fringe and pony. A total winner!
