Sunday night saw the Sloans team pop on their best outfits, create their best dos and paint Sydney red as they all attended the Australian Hair Fashion Awards at Luna Park. We already know that our team are the best hairdressers in Lane Cove and North Sydney but it’s nice to celebrate how amazing they are with a fun night out, mingling with other hairdressers, fashion stylists, make-up artists and media.
The AHFA’s are the country’s premium and most successful independent hairdressing awards program and the team were thrilled to be Finalists for awards including;
- Scott Sloan – Australian Hairdresser of the Year
- Salon Business of the Year
- Jordan Hone – Creative Colourist of the Year
- Idy Duong – Newcomer of the Year Finalist
- Brittany Cristaudo – Newcomer of the Year Finalist
- Isobel Allan – Hair Shot of the Year Finalist
- Christopher Byrne – Hair Shot of the Year Finalist
The awards were amazing, and even featured a set by Sneaky Sound System which had us all up on the dancefloor!
Most excitingly, our amazing team member Christopher Byrne was named one of the 4 members of this year’s Australian Fame Team – an extremely coveted role within the industry for the most talented styling shining lights. A year of money-can’t-buy opportunities now awaits Chris as he gets set to experience an unbelievable line-up of mentors, stage experience and opportunities to work on photographic shoots with some of the best names in the global hairdressing industry! Not to mention a trip to London!
The FAME Team provides the most professional mentorship program for the next generation of the Australian Hairdressing industry.
