Conjuring the sense of a luxurious garden party in the Spring sunshine, ‘Botanica’ is a celebration of colour and contrast. The brightly clashing prints and bold patterns blur where the flower beds end and the fashion begins. With bright, vivid prints spotted on SS19 catwalks from Versace, Isabel Marant, Erdem and Dries Van Noten to name a few, this collection is a celebration of the beauty of the rainbow, champagne in hand.

With razor sharp editorial sensibility, Jordan creates an ultra-wearable assembly of images, highlighting the seasons stunning metallic inspired tones. Light is crucial, with each model position carefully directed in order to provide full perspective and underscore the most subtle changes created by movement. Styling is clearly unabashedly bold and sophisticated while the backdrop provides the dreamy garden party afternoon sky.

Look 1 pays homage to the current love of lavender metallics and the universal appeal of this flattering shade. With a cool a hint of platinum, it is reminiscent of ebony and ivory against the deep black and green styling.

Look 2 was created to highlight the possibilities of light and shade, carefully determining the precise placement of highlights to complement the features. The warm ecru frames the face and creates a subtle halo effect.

Look 3 is a celebration of a sheer metallic copper in all it’s shimmering glory. Deeper at the roots for depth, this look was created to highlight the intense shine possible with this shade.

Look 4 conjures images of a classic English rose, both for the model and the shade. Deep crimson and mahogany work together to create a multi-faceted shade with added dimension.

Look 5 is inspired by the layered petals of a flower, with the colour contrast revealing the colour journey from the softest blush of pink through to a deeper burgundy base.

Look 6 is full of movement and the is most free-spirited of the collection. The curls are created with a deep chocolate block of colour, with teasing out around the face providing a contrast as the shade meets the light.
